Jennifer Aniston and Victoria Beckham’s commercial for Uber Eats may have been the star of the show during this year’s Super Bowl broadcast, but not everyone was so impressed with it.

The ad – which also features appearances by Victoria’s husband David Beckham and Jen’s former Friends co-star David Schwimmer, as well as musicians Usher and Jelly Roll – centers on different people who have forgotten the important things in their lives.

This included a man who apparently “forgot” that he was intolerant to peanut butter, as he appeared to have an allergic reaction including hives and facial swelling.

After the ad premiered, the charity Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) wrote in X that it was “deeply disappointed” by Uber Eats’ “use of life-threatening food allergies as humor in the Super Bowl ad.”

“Life-threatening food allergies are a disease, not a diet. Enough is enough,” they added.

We are deeply disappointed by @UberEats’ use of life-threatening food allergies as humor in its Super Bowl ad. The plight of more than 33 million Americans with this condition is no joke. Life-threatening food allergies are a disease, not a diet. Enough already. https://t.co/aKilgfweVd

Meanwhile, after speaking with Uber Eats, FARE CEO Sung Poblete said in a statement: “I have spoken with Uber, they greatly appreciate FARE’s valuable perspective and feedback and have made changes to the ads that will run throughout the Super Bowl. audience, they edited out references to peanut allergies.”

Per Entertainment Weekly, a version of the ad without the allergy sequence is now streaming on YouTube, and the original video is unlisted.

In part of the ad, Jennifer is seen having difficulty remembering working with David, who was her co-star for 10 years on Friends.

Another part of the video shows the Beckhams failing to remember the name of Victoria’s chart-topping pop group, the Spice Girls.
