Aside from its outrageous scenes, top-notch soundtrack, and questionable efficacy as a class satire, the other major topic of conversation surrounding Saltburn since its release last month has been its top-notch cast.

As well as Barry Keoghan’s lead performance, the film also features standout performances from Jacob Elordi, Rosamund Pike and Richard E Grant as members of the Catton family, while rising stars like Alison Oliver and Archie Madekwe may have to make room in their calendars. behind the film’s success.

Barry Keoghan was already a big name (and an Oscar nominee too!) before Saltburn, thanks to his roles in films such as The Killing Of A Sacred Deer, Dunkirk and, more recently, Eternals, The Banshees Of Inisherin and The Batman.

But it’s safe to say she’s more talked about thanks to her starring role in Emerald Fennell’s hit film.

Barry fans won’t have to wait long to see him in action again as he joins Austin Butler and Callum Turner in Apple TV+ war drama Masters Of The Air, which has already received rave reviews.

The Irishman will also star in thriller Bring Them Down and British drama Bird, where he will share the screen with Passages’ Franz Rogowski.

He was initially expected to join the cast of the upcoming Gladiator sequel, but had to pull out due to his already busy schedule.

Jacob Elordi can currently be seen as Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla, but he also has two major films in the pipeline.

The Australian star will star alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones and Will Poulter in On Swift Horses, based on the novel of the same name. He will also play the younger version of Richard Gere’s character in the war drama Oh, Canada, starring Uma Thurman and Michael Imperioli.

Jacon will also reprise his role as Nate Jabobs in hit US teen series Euphoria, which will resume filming later this year.

Archie Madekwe

Before he signed up for Saltburn, you might have seen Archie Madekwe in Ari Aster’s folk horror film Midsommar, sci-fi thriller Voyagers, or spy film Heart Of Stone, which starts streaming on Netflix in 2023.

In a recent interview with Hunger magazine, Archie revealed that he was in Los Angeles working on a project – but wasn’t allowed to discuss it any further, as it fell through during the SAG-AFTRA strike. So, we guess, watch this space…

However, you can watch another Archie film, Gran Turismo, on Netflix starting December 25, 2023.

Rosamund Pike

Honestly, Rosamund Pike really steals the show as matriarch Elspeth in Saltburn.

Next up for Rosamund is the third season of Amazon Prime fantasy drama The Wheel Of Time, in which she plays Moiraine Damodred, described as “an Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah in search of the Dragon Reborn”.

No, we don’t know what that means either, but if you’re interested, you can watch Rosamund in the first two seasons on Prime Video now.

Richard E Grant

Next up for Richard E Grant are two very different sounding projects.

The first is the dark comedy Death Of A Unicorn, which – as the name suggests – tells the story of a man and his daughter (played by Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega) who while driving discover that they have hit and killed a car. unicorns.

He will also appear alongside a star-studded cast in The Franchise, a new TV show about the cast and crew of a blockbuster fictional superhero film.

Carey Mulligan

Unlike the rest of the Saltburn cast, Carey had big reason to celebrate when this year’s Oscar nominations were announced, as she was up for Best Actress for her role in Maestro, which is now available to stream on Netflix.

Additionally, he will also appear in Adam Sandler’s exciting new film Spaceman alongside Paul Dano, Isabella Rosellini and The Big Bang Theory’s Kunal Nayyar, as well as lending his voice to stop-motion animation Wildwood.

He’s also signed up for One For The Money, a new comedy about a lottery winner who hires his favorite musicians to play for him on his private island.

Paul Rhys

Apart from playing surly butler Duncan in Saltburn, Paul Rhys has really been a busy man in the last year.

You can currently see him in Ridley Scott’s Napoleon, now streaming on Apple TV+, as well as the BBC film Men Up, about the first clinical trials of Viagra in the 1990s.

His IMDB page doesn’t currently list any projects in the near future, but considering how busy he’ll be in 2023, we don’t see them sticking around for long.

Fennel Emerald

Screenwriter, director, producer, and actor – Emerald Fennell wears all these hats in 2023 between Saltburn and Barbie.

His next big screen outing will be the action thriller Ballerina, which he wrote, and will be directed by Len Wiseman, with Ana De Armas, Anjelica Huston and Keanu Reeves starring.
