After Big Brother makes its triumphant return to air at the end of 2023, ITV will be all out for a star-studded spin-off show.
Yes, after a six-year hiatus, Celebrity Big Brother will return to our screens this spring, and while the regular series has proved popular on ITV2, the celeb version will be shown on the main channel due to its shorter run – with a reported big budget to help lure talent .
With still months to go until the launch, we’re still a long way from the list of celebrities to be confirmed, but this hasn’t stopped rumors of potential famous housemates quickly arriving (for what it’s worth, an ITV rep has already said that all the rumors are for this is “pure speculation”).
So far, stars from the worlds of TV, sport and beyond have been named in unconfirmed reports about the new series of Celebrity Big Brother. Here are all the celebs rumored to be appearing at the event so far…

Strictly Come Dancing chief judge Shirley Ballas was one of the first names reported by The Sun to be in “advanced talks” for the new series.
The tabloid quoted an undisclosed ‘source’ who claimed Shirley was a long-time Big Brother fan, and wanted to join the show to show ‘a different side of her than the women people are used to seeing on Strictly’.
However, the “source” in question added that “the BBC’s position on taking the job” could put the brakes on its CBB plans.

Former rugby union player, I’m A Celebrity campmate and aspiring DJ James Haskell returned to the headlines in October 2023 when he and wife Chloe Madeley announced they had split.
Since then, The Mirror has claimed that James has attended meetings with the Celebrity Big Brother team, with undisclosed “sources” claiming that bosses were impressed by his “openness”.

Since finishing runner-up on the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Bimini have been well booked and busy, recording music under a major label deal, releasing their first book, and walking countless runways.
According to The Sun, they may be headed back to the real world, as they are one of four Drag Race stars CBB bosses are thought to be considering.
The tabloid claims that season one finalist Baga Chipz, season two runner-up Tayce and champion England vs. Blu Hydrangea World, who is currently competing on Ireland’s version of Dancing With The Stars, is also being eyed for a place on the trail. -to the top.

In the last decade, Joey Essex has become something of a reality TV veteran, appearing on *deep breath* The Jump, I’m A Celebrity, Dancing On Ice, Ex On The Beach, Celebrity MasterChef, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, All Beach Stars and Splash! – as well as his short-lived series, Educating Joey Essex.
And apparently, he’s not done yet.
Despite having now left the UK to pursue a career in boxing, The Sun claims the former TOWIE star could be lured back as he is at the “top of ITV’s wish list” for a new CBB series.

Best known for shooting straight from the hip during his years on the X Factor judging panel, Louis Walsh will no doubt be an exciting addition to the CBB house.
At the start of January, The Sun claimed Louis was already “in talks” with ITV about appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, with bosses apparently expecting “revelations about his days on the hugely successful talent show”.

According to The Mirror, musician, chef and entrepreneur Levi Roots has “signed a contract” for this year’s Celebrity Big Brother.
Recently, Levi was a guest on Dragon’s Den, while there is also speculation that he is one of the undercover stars on the current series of The Masked Singer.

If the Royal Family thought they would have a headache-free year after The Crown ended, they might want to think again.
According to The Sun, Kate Middeton’s uncle, businessman Gary Goldsmith, has “negotiated a hefty contract” to take part in the new CBB series.
The Sun called Gary the show’s most controversial performer ever, with an “insider” stating that bosses “love him for his relationship with Kate and the fact he’s confident and loud and won’t hold back”.

And while we’re discussing the controversial CBB signing, let’s talk about Jennifer Arcuri.
In October last year, The Sun claimed that producers were willing to throw money at potential housemates in a bid to get them to sign up, naming Jennifer as one of the names thought to be on the team’s radar.

It’s not a stretch to think that when ITV took over the reins of Celebrity Big Brother, they would want to throw former Love Island residents into the mix.
The Sun has reported that former finalist Chloe Burrows has been “hired” to CBB, after swerving the recent series of Love Island All Stars, which featured her famous ex Toby Aromolaran, in favor of a new reality TV venture.

Or maybe the place will lead to a completely different reality TV Chloe?
Described by The Sun as TOWIE’s “most controversial star”, the tabloid claims that Chloe Brockett has entered “talks” with the team on Celebrity Big Brother.
After all, if producers are looking for a TOWIE star to take part, our money might be on Pete Wicks.
In recent history, Pete has become famous for his bromance with former Celebs Go Dating co-star Sam Thompson, who won last year’s series of I’m A Celebrity, and the pair have been confirmed to cover the upcoming red NTAs. carpet – which is still eight months away.
The Sun claims that CBB is “eyeing” Pete for a place in the CBB house, and appears to be “desperate” to sign him up, according to so-called “sources”.

Until this year, Matt Evers had been one of Dancing On Ice’s most recognizable faces, having been part of the show since its launch.
However, he has opted not to return for the current series of the ITV skating show, with The Sun claiming he is already in “advanced talks” for CBB.
During his tenure on Dancing On Ice, Matt performed with several iconic celebrities, including Pamela Anderson, Gemma Collins, Denise Welch and Heather Mills. She and Ian “H” Watkins also made TV history when they became the first same-sex skating couple on the show, a full year before rival show Strictly Come Dancing made the same inclusive move.

It’s………. Celebrity Big Brother rumor time.
When reports of the line-up first began circulating, Rebekah Vardy was named by The Sun as a “contender” for the series after ITV offered the casting team a large budget to get stars in the line-up.
However, interestingly The Mirror later reported that producers had “decided to explore other candidates” after his name was first leaked to the media.

The Sun’s initial report on Rebekah Vardy also named Sarah Ferguson as the CBB team’s favorite for a place in the event.
However, unlike most of the names on this list, the Duchess of York has played it down, and her spokesperson told Entertainment Daily: “This story is complete nonsense. The Duchess will not appear at this event.
“As is widely known, he did not consider the reality TV format.”

Aside from a few ill-fated media interviews, Phillip Schofield has largely kept a low profile since the scandal he was involved in in May 2023.
Although The Sun named the former This Morning presenter as one of the potential housemates “in the frame” for a CBB return, we think that’s a big no-brainer, considering it’s been less than a year since he stepped down from ITV after. admitted to lying to his old boss about his affair with a younger colleague.

Unfortunately, we think this is just wishful thinking and not a more credible rumor.
Diane instantly became a fan favorite when the latest series of The Traitors began, and following her untimely elimination, viewers were quick to voice their hopes that she would soon return to our screens in another reality show.
Meanwhile, Diane told the Daily Star that she would be ready for CBB if they came calling. Seriously, ITV – make this happen!
