Music history was made at this year’s Grammys when Taylor Swift set a new record for winning Album Of The Year more times than any other artist in history.
But Taylor wasn’t the only musician worth celebrating after this year’s ceremony.
The 2024 Grammys featured a number of stars winning their first awards at the ceremony, including top singers, rising stars, and one artist who had been nominated 17 times before finally winning.

The road to a Grammy win was a long one for the former Hannah Montana star, who earned her first nomination a decade ago thanks to her hit album Bangerz.
In 2024, he picked up two wins for his hit song Flowers, including the coveted Record Of The Year prize.

Singer-songwriter Victoria Monét took home three awards this year, including Best R&B Album and Best Engineered Album.
Perhaps most impressively, she was named Best New Artist at the ceremony, and took time to deliver an empowering speech about the importance of perseverance and supporting yourself, even when it’s difficult to do so.

The indie supergroup earned a total of three awards at this year’s ceremony.
Band member Phoebe Bridgers (who previously won a Grammy as a solo artist) was actually the night’s top winner in 2024, having earned an additional win for her collaboration with SZA.

Although Paramore members have won Grammys before, 2024 marks the first time the band has been honored en masse.
They received the Best Rock Album award for their release This Is Why, as well as Alternative Music Performance for the album’s title track.
Fred again…Fred Again.. appeared last year

Music producer and DJ Fred Again.. enters this year’s Grammys as one of the top-nominated Brits, with four nominations in total.
He was the winner in two categories, Best Dance/Electronic Recording and Best Dance/Electronic Album, making him the British artist with the most wins in 2024. However, he is not expected to attend the ceremony this year.

The American singer faced stiff competition in the Best R&B Performance category, including from fellow winners SZA and Victoria Monét.
He ultimately took home his first Grammy for his 2022 single ICU.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Colombian singer Karol G celebrated his first Grammy win in the Best Música Urbana Album category for his collection Mañana Será Bonito.
Karol previously won five Latin Grammy Awards.
TylaTyla won the Grammy for Best African Music Performance on Sunday night

The momentum surrounding South African singer Tyla shows no signs of slowing down.
After earning a place on the BBC’s Sound Of 2024 list and an International Song award at the upcoming Brit Awards, he was awarded his first Grammy for his breakthrough song Water in the Best African Music Performance category.
